Brits insist they're a democracy, don't they? They're included in the "Democratic west vs authoritarian east" rhetoric. Weird how the goalpost shifts when your side is transparently coming out worse.

Pretending like the EU is working for the interests of EU members: What exactly is the argument for giving them 500 milliard euro in aid, and agreeing to buy their inferior products for super critical uses? How big were the tariffs they were threatening without those outrageous gifts? How can von der Leyen and co. expect us to believe they could go any higher and still afford to buy any European products?

China is selling higher quality energy equipment for a fraction of the price, and Russia is selling competitive military equipment for a fraction of the price. Not to mention the inherit security risk of buying foreign military equipment to begin with.

If the product is 15% more expensive, it might push it over the threshold where it's no longer the most competitive product, and a competitor gets the sale instead.

The dictators that the USA supports are people who don't have popular support or a pre-existing legal framework they derive their power from. They are governors working as proxies for the USA, deriving their authority from the USAs guns. It doesn't just mean people you don't like. Russia's "democracy" is as legitimate as most European liberal democracies. The DPRK has never propped up a dictator, they don't have the power to.

It just gives you an MP4 file!? This is unprecedented levels of consumer friendliness.

Apple allows you to offer better deals on other platforms. Customers are allowed to buy on other platforms, but sellers aren't allowed to give you any reason to. Even in cases where those other platforms take a smaller cut, the developer has to artificially raise the price until Steam is the cheapest platform if they want to remain on Steam.

GPUs being able to spy on you is a problem. Linux and OSs should work on ways to minimise this possibility. But specifically worrying about them ratting you out to the CPC is in my opinion much less serious than spying on you for commercial interests. Ultimately it's possible to avoid visiting China if you aren't Chinese. Including Chinese websites.

The source is EuroMed Monitor, it's a link. It's also repeated in the text of the post. This is the article covering the same topic posted to the official website. https://euromedmonitor.org/en/article/6795/Starving-civilians-in-northern-Gaza-lured-to-aid-sites-and-executed,-revealing-brutal-pattern-of-Israel%E2%80%99s-genocide

Then explain this photograph.

Remember when Yevgeny Prigozhin was playing a friendly round of paintball with live guns and grenades onboard his private jet? That explanation definitely requires fewer assumptions than an assassination.

I checked and you weren't banned for mentioning Tienanmen square, no one cared. You were temp banned (30 days) for using racist language, holocaust denial, and promoting the Uigur concentration camp conspiracy theory and lying about what your sources are.

You don't need to watch the video. Tom Scott/None of the interview subjects ever point out how fucked this is, but basically the story is rich sadists would put coins in boiling water and then throw them at poor children to watch them endure injury for small amounts of money as a form of entertainment.

Stonetoss is a Nazi cartoonist for context. Of course he probably doesn't understand that the 'lethal aid' money that the USA is sending Ukraine is actually going to the owners of weapons companies in the USA.

He used to be a super villain, and now every time I see his name it's related to something unambiguously anti-imperialist he's said. When did this happen? Am I just completely wrong on something? Either his recent statements or on his past.
