If your “bio” contains a table like so, your username, on Hexbear, will appear as USERNAME [XXX/YYY]@lemmygrad.ml

I haven’t looked at Hexbear’s source code, nor experimented further, so I don’t know what limitations there are, but I know you can add other rows to the table without breaking the feature.

I think they're just in the display name. I don't see your pronouns even tho you have the table in the bio.

Yes, it’s a display feature, that’s only visible on Hexbear:

My wild-assed guess—being unfamiliar with Lemmy code or even ActivityPub—is that this is being set in some configuration file that’s not publicly checked in, having to do with profile key/value metadata, which is extensible.
