Sure but the point is that this was fat enough to get people to come look at him at the freak show and now he's a fairly average American.

To be fair this is on comic strips not funny - there is no commitment to this being funny.

Why have more data when you can crash through walls with less data?

FATE: Reawakened just came out (store.steampowered.com)

I had no idea this was coming, but it's a remaster of all four games. Support for widescreen resolutions, full controller support, and integration of the later game features in the original (you can choose from different races in FATE, for example). Playing it on my steam deck and it's running great so far.

Jeep sells more than twice as many vehicles per year as Dodge. They are not the "small brand."

I avoid anything with kernel level anti-cheat. It is a theoretical attack vector - if the anti-cheat were somehow compromised, you've granted it low-level access to your system so whatever payload it is injecting would have that same level of access.

Even if you only play the single player part of a game the anti-cheat will be installed and running in the background.

I grew up on 64, but 8 Deluxe is incredible. Great variety of courses and karts, great mechanics.

The issue you're highlighting is due to the difference between metal and plastic. I have an Orca bottle that has a plastic lid that screws on without any rubber gasket and I end up with shreds of plastic in the bottle.

Plastic rubbing on metal leads to the plastic degrading and metal on metal does not make a good seal, so I think a rubber gasket is your only option.

So wait, I'm not just a grumpy old man who doesn't like a lot of noise, this is actually a disorder?

Honestly though it's an interesting question and I wonder if this is just the "natural state." I really started to feel it after I went RVing for a year. It's a relatively recent (in the overall span of humanity) development that people would be in groups large enough to make this be an issue.

I was at a hibachi place in December and one of the managers was trying to light a candle. The lighter didn't work and he made a joke that it "must be made in China. It'll cost 25% more soon!" A guy at the table said "well you'll just need to buy one made in Pennsylvania!"

I asked him if he knew of any companies that manufactured disposable lighters in Pennsylvania, and he just said "Trump will make it happen!"

The disconnect is crazy.

This is from the creator of Warhammer Chaosbane if anyone is familiar. I haven't had a chance to try it but it looks interesting.

I've seen controlled burns in forests to consume fuel so it does not start a wildfire. Why burn a field like that?

So what class are you going for first? I'm definitely going Sentinel but I'm not sure if I'll go VK or Paladin.

I have a Framework 13 AMD - love it overall. I'm currently running opensuse with Plasma but would honestly be happy to switch DEs if this was possible elsewhere.

It has a moderately high resolution screen (2256x1504). For a lot of games the AMD can't quite keep up, but runs fine at lower resolutions. The problem is that most games will offer native resolution, but then offer "standard" resolutions below that rather than half native.

Is there a way (even if manually for each game) to tell Plasma (or GNOME if I have to go that route) to launch a game with half the screen resolution?
