Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place, but I can't find the option to change to font size of the reply box.

I can barely see what I'm typing

Missing wefwef. Every app has its flaws, but Connect is the more feature-rich.

It's easy to complain about the bugs in every one of them, but let's not forget that for the vast majority of us, we didn't even know that Lemmy ever existed a month ago.

Progress has been astounding

IMO thats the beauty of a federated network

Thanks! Is there a way to mirror APK images on FDroid? Sometimes the PlayStore takes ages to reflect APK updates

On my other device it's even worse.

Case in point:

Jerboa uses max 250MB and a mature app like Relay barely tops 200MB

Connect is the most feature rich of all lemmy clients but it seems incredibly unoptimized.

Aside from the "usual" random crashes. I can literally feel my phone getting more and more sluggish until the system memory is just filled to the brim and it crashes. Definitely not a Doom Scroll friendly client at the moment.

My guess is all these trackers are from linked URLs from posts that Connect fetches without valid reason.

Since it's still in early development I will still keep an eye on it, but yeah, it needs some more optimization

I think you are mixing two things up. Some 4k remasters have incredibly distracting film grain. Blade Runner comes to mind. It's a matter of personal taste and how accurate you want the film to reflect the film source.

The more compressed the file is, the les accurate it is, and film grain is the first thing to get crushed by compression algorithms

A bit bummed about the salary retention, but we are overcrowded with better, younger defensemen

First of all, I LOVE THIS WEBAPP. It's imo the best out there, crazy considering it's a hardware agnostic webapp.

Feature request: It might be a limitation of web apps, but it would be very helpful to have haptic feedback when upvoting / downvoting / replying to posts.

Sometimes I swipe and it seems that wefwef doesn't register my gesture. Haptic feedback would resolve that issue.

Thanks!

Is there an easy way to migrate my Plex music library (including the star ratings) to a Jellyfin music library?

I have well over 10 000 tracks that have been meticulously curated and rated (for better playlist management) and from what I understand, those ratings are nowhere to be found in the actual file metadata.

Is there a way to port over these ratings to Jellyfin?

I simply cannot imagine starting from scratch all over again

Lemmy currently lacks the userbase for niche, specific communities, or subregional communities

[-] [email protected] 14 points 2 years ago

And I expect it to fall another 6% or more on July 1st. So long, Reddit

well thats quite infuriating I would say

It's crazy, in more or less 5 days as well.
