Panda Express. Like warmed over cans of LaChoy from the 1970s.

I tried the cardboard trick in the garden one time, but it just rotted after a good rain, and the grass/weeds came through pretty quickly.

Old mattress toppers are good for re-stuffing upholstery covers. The old foam in the seats usually flattens over time. But if you have one of those egg carton style, mattress toppers, you can cut a piece to fit and inserted to fluff out the padding again.

Toilet paper rolls are good for sorting power and usb cords. Just loop them a couple of times and then pull them through the roll. It will act as a band to keep the cord rolled, and you can write on the roll what it is with a marker.

(Saw this on YouTube once)

I found Murderbot to be a disappointing adaptation. I recommend reading the books instead.

Do you want school uniforms? Because this is how you get school uniforms.

Farage claims a lot of things. Most of it is bullshit.

Short seasons, don’t bother me if they’re done well. My main complaint is having to wait more than a year for the next season. It’s especially ridiculous when that season is short. I shouldn’t have to wait three years for eight episodes. By then I have lost interest.

Apps like Bluesky allow you to create a list of block words for anything you don’t want to see. Is there already a feature request logged for this? I wouldn’t mind seeing a way to mass block the following:

  • word or phrase in title (like kardashian)
  • word in link source (like dailymail)
  • word in sublemmy (like meme)
  • word in tag (like #sports)

I dunno if it would significantly slow down app rendering of the feed, or if this kind of blocking would have to be a feature request for the server side instead.

Thanks for your time.

Just finished reading an article about how raw alfalfa sprouts easily spread e-coli, but the problem could be solved by irradiation. So why don’t we?

After all, the US is the land of GMO, pesticides, washed eggs, chlorinated chicken, and pasteurized dairy. How could irradiated produce be any worse?

Am I the only one that hits the story link when trying to tap reply or bookmark buttons? Feels like it could use a couple more blank horizontal pixel rows between the content and the toolbar.
