How does ssh, sftp or http help you with movie / shows tracking?

I just noticed that tvtime.com is being shut down on July 15th.

Are there any good open source alternatives? So far I know about

Just played around with the demo, and looks very promising.

Is anyone aware of any self hosted portfolio tracking software?

Something like TradingView or Yahoo Finance, where I can input my trades, and track tickers.

It's just another type of advertising to them. Ask a question trying to solve a problem, then use your alt account to shill your own solution.

On Reddit especially, it usually was people asking a question, then having their alt account respond with whatever they were trying to shill, and just doing that over and over again.

Yeah my bad, I didn't properly verify that.

https://communityhub.strava.com/insider-journal-9/an-update-to-our-developer-program-13428

The gist of it is that Strava just killed its free API, and will now require developers to have a subscription.

At Strava, we care deeply about developers, and the health of the developer ecosystem. There are now 241,000 Strava API developers, up from 185,000 last year. Starting today, all current and future applications will automatically receive access to the Standard developer tier. This allows you to serve up to 10 athletes and start building immediately, completely eliminating the previous queue.

This essentially kills thousands of tools people build using the free API.

If you're looking to move away from Strava, so far I've found four open source alternatives:

  • CubeTrek - Open-source GPS track manager with 3D topography visualization for outdoor activities.
  • Endurain - Self-hosted fitness tracking service for running, cycling, and more with full data control.
  • RunnerUp - An open source run tracker for Android.
  • Geo Activity Playground - Data analysis and visualization based on GPS tracked outdoor activities.
  • OpenTracks - A privacy-focused sport tracking application for Android that records GPS tracks and supports Bluetooth sensors without any internet access or ads.

Bruno and Yaak are both pretty decent, I use Yaak on a daily basis. There's also HTTPie, Hoppscotch, Insomnia and Scalar.

Nextcloud has to be most popular one, but here's a couple of other cloud storage solutions.

Just came across this, and thought it was a pretty cool tool to self-host. You can use it to monitor price changes, or new events being added, or to check if that out of stock thing is back in stock.

Looks great! I've also added Nutritrace to OpenAltFinder. It's the first self hosted nutrition tracker there now.

I recently started migrating away from 1Password. I was on the individual plan for almost 5 years, but this year they would raise the price. I would happily keep paying, but I just find that the quality has just gone downhill. The Firefox extension seems to freeze up quite often, or unlocking doesn't work, or sometimes it takes 10 seconds +...

The browser extension was also feeling a bit intrusive. It would often pop up for non-login fields. There's also no way to disable it for specific sites.

All in all, I just grew frustrated with it, and decided to switch to Bitwarden. I'm just on the free one, so I am missing quite a bit of functionality.

Ente Auth is an alternative to other 2FA tools tho. It's just that it's part of the whole Ente suite.

I was actually looking for a nice self-hosted too like this. I've also added Portabase to OpenAltFinder so that others can find it too.

That looks great, I've added Chhoto URL to OpenAltFinder as well.
