I am american, moreso than most realistically. My family has been texan since before even texas was american. I am brown and have a Latin last name, there's a ton of us the same here in texas. In my family the generation before me was the last that inherited spanish from the family and none are fluent (texmex spanglish at best), at least not without schooling.

This is all to say that my drivers license is on me at all times outside of my house. I carry it everywhere, even on my smoke breaks at work, even when I'm washing my car, even when I'm checking my mail.

I shouldn't be living like this, I don't deserve to live like this, my rights as an American citizen say I should be protected against this, but here we are.

Despite the laundry list of privacy and personal property infringements being an issue here this will also cause an issue for poorer people that cant afford the new markup for trash tech they dont need, and will create a new reason to be harassed. Cops will start pulling over and bothering every car that is made before this mandate. They can use this as an excuse to accuse people of intoxication and get real loose with their rights when they get rightfully angry.

It is propaganda becauae they will twist truths and outright lie to make trans people seem sick or confused, they'll tout harmful and ineffective "cures" as real medical science. They do their best to villify the trans community and the treatments they undergo with cherry picked information and blatant falsehoods and claims of grooming to discredit anything they say or do.

Being trans is not a trend, or a sickness, or evil, or whatever they try to say to make it go away. Our rights, existence, and our medical treatment are not up for debate. This is the same as the true facts they once touted about nonwhites to make a racist agenda and it is most certainly propoganda.

During the same session they banned drag shows in such a vague way that a trans person playing guitar in a public place could be fined or even arrested for sexual performance. Also made it illegal to refuse to identify yourself to police

I mean yeah they do. My parents took me to r rated movies since I was in grade school if I wanted to see it, bought me m rated games etc. They had a right to raise me how they want and part of that was making sure I knew what make believe was beforehand and that some things are beyond me in years and I turned out just fine.
