Lemmy is not dead at all. It's just doesn't have hundreds of millions. There are many vibrant communities, like this one

I just launched my first app. It's a simple app that pops up a toast notification when hdr content is being played, kinda like TVs do

When I'm making a post, I can choose the language is made on. But there are so many. No one speaks so many, so I'll have to scroll through in order to find mine. Is it possible we can filter this list so there will be only the languages we can speak?

I've been building an app for some time and I'm interested in open sourcing it. I've searched the net but I haven't found a good thorough guide on how to open source an app. So, besides choosing a place to put my code (github etc), what are some other advice you can give me in order to do it right? Thanks in advance

"zero-human companies" sounds so sad and dystopian, I have no idea why they think it's a good promo

As it stands right now, it looks like we have to just judge based off of how old posts are to see if we can still interact with a community.

I'm happy with it but I wouldn't mind trying something new. Any recommendations?

Edit: it has to be available on Android

Hello,

I remember when you had a bug where shadows where clipped. I'm running into a similar app and I can't find out what's wrong. I'm also using Compose and elevated cards. Can you help? Thanks!

I agree. For example there are some groups on fb I would like to be a part of but I hate the fact that I have to have a fb account

I mean, obviously, most people watched D&W in the cinema.

It's an Android Lemmy client. The app just went public so it needs some repo refinement
