Haven't played Humankind yet, but Amplitude's previous Civ/4X-like "Endless Legend" was amazing and very fresh take on the genre. And it looked like Firaxis were already trying to copy some of it in Civ 6, so I'm not surprised this trend continues.

Yeah, keep X on and pile up the multi-million fines if they don't comply with laws. That's the only thing companies care about - something eating up their profits.

And if they keep not complying - then ban it altogether, like Brazil did. I prefer to recognize and ban it for the illegal activities it does, not because some folks don't like it and banded together against it.

When they wrote this "promted explanation from the water body itself" I thought it was some funny wording for a water agency or sth, not that they'd actually attempt to word their answer as if it's from the waterfall itself, lol.

Was surprised I started mixing up left and right after I broke my right-hand wrist while biking.

Turns out I subconsciously associated "right" for the direction my stronger hand was on, and once my left hand started feeling like the more dominant one during recovery - my brain would automatically choose that "right" should be on my left-hand side instead, until I actively thought about which direction is which.

This gradually decreased out as my right hand recovered and got back to being the dominant one over the next few years, but was eye-opening what shortcuts my brain uses for such basic things.

Our president is a piece of shit. Good thing is that after we finally got a working government he isn't controlling almost anything of substance. So he can make his shit speeches until his term ends, and we will still help Ukraine as much as we can. Sad thing is, some part of the population still listen to him and Russian propaganda spewing, refusing to think for themselves.

It was really funny last week when Zelensky got invited and he had to publicly meet him, all our pResident bullshit talking points got refuted on national TV by someone with much more cojones than he can ever have, leaving this MF-er looking like a fool. I really hope this way good logic reached some people.
