On Saturday NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore noticed some strange noises emanating from a speaker inside the Starliner spacecraft.

"I've got a question about Starliner," Wilmore radioed down to Mission Control, at Johnson Space Center in Houston. "There's a strange noise coming through the speaker ... I don't know what's making it."

Wilmore said he was not sure if there was some oddity in the connection between the station and the spacecraft causing the noise, or something else. He asked the flight controllers in Houston to see if they could listen to the audio inside the spacecraft. A few minutes later, Mission Control radioed back that they were linked via "hardline" to listen to audio inside Starliner, which has now been docked to the International Space Station for nearly three months.

Odd that there is no mention of the parents contacting the police and working through them to get the images down Technically and legally the photos would be considered child porn Since it's over the Internet it would bring Federal charges even though there maybe State charges Somethings were handled wrong if all the kid is getting is probation

Our Universe appears to be expanding and cooling, having originated some 13.8 billion years ago in a hot Big Bang. However, it's plausible that what we see from inside our Universe is simply the result of being inside a black hole that formed from some parent Universe. If the black holes that form in our cosmos give birth to baby Universes, perhaps we arose from the formation of a black hole ourselves.

As it turns out one of the pioneering synths was the humble Commodore Amiga. Here’s more from Magical Synth:

“I made a video about the very first polyphonic, subtractive soft synth available to the public,” notes Bow. “It was made possible by the unique soundchip of the Commodore Amiga computer. The video also features other interesting Amiga software synths.”

Ray-tracing, the simulation of light rays and their interactions with the environment, is the holy grail of computer graphics and can achieve Hollywood-level imagery. The Amiga home computer, despite being capable of ray tracing in the 80s, was left out of the conversation due to hardware limitations. The Amiga played a significant role in visual effects and pioneered software that is still used in the TV and film industry today, but ultimately fell out of favor due to financial struggles and competition from home consoles.

Incorrect testing They didn't use the GPU board the block was designed for as they apparently didn't have one available from their inventory Linus found out about that at the start of filming the video review then decided to go full steam ahead anyway Gotta get that video out Didn't even mention or reference the included manual and other documentation Concluded it was a crap product, a prototype installed on the improper GPU, in the video and also on the WANshow That had to have caused untold damage to the company in revenue and reputation

Greetings from the top of New York State on the Canadian border I'm normally out kayaking if it's nice out on the local rivers The St. Lawrence River can be a challenge due to its size and orientation with the prevailing winds Though it's made up for by the islands to explore Almost all my trips are streamed on Twitch Need to work on the setup still Verizon is currently doing maintenance I assume for G5 tower upgrades I'm hoping the connectivity will return to what it has been in past years or better

Which are what

[-] [email protected] 16 points 2 years ago

It could have been fresh from the factory and would have had the same result It was an improper application of the material to save on the more expensive titanium Same with the acrylic viewport, while not the best material it's the design that was non-standard Quartz would have been better but more expensive Not the time to cheap out on materials, design, nor experience when lives are on the line
