overview for encode8062

Hi For a local non for profit I am looking for an alternative for our Facebook group. An easy to use interface with a mobile app is a must. We need to have a place to post important updates and have small discussions/polls. Being able to create events would be a plus. Does anyone know a good alternative? Thanks in advance!

I also think that using the phone number to find friends, as done by signal, is really important for mainstream adoption.

I don't understand why a privacy respecting app would use discord for their community. I subscribed to their mailing list and look forward to any updates.

Just use a service that works on both android and iOS such as Signal.

Signal is the best in regards to privacy.

Google reminds us that Google Chat can be used with friends and family by encode8062 in c/[email protected]

Hi. I want to start selfhosting my data. I already have a jellyfin server running. I'd like to add a nextcloud instance. The setup of nextcloud says I should open up port 443 for using my own domain. Sadly I am not able to open up this port properly. It is open however when I visit jellyfin.mydomaim.com it is rerouted to the config of my router. To circumvent this problem I have set up a reverse proxy that accepts port 8443 instead of 443. For my jellyfin this seems to work. I can visit it with jellyfin.my domain.com:8443. I don't know how I can get this to work for nextcloud as it only accepts 443. Any advice on my setup is welcome! BTW I am running Debian on an old PC.
