I find that for me this happens especially often in 3rd person camera control. And I think it has to do with the distance between the camera and the controlled actor.

Think driving a car, and the camera moving up close to the car when you're under something like a bridge which would otherwise clip the camera. At that point my preference for camera controll switches from 'orbit object' mode to 'aim' mode so to say.

Does that make sense?

This is the most clear description I got, thanks for that! This is also what I've been doing by not knowing any better, although I've been doing this while standing next to it while the bike is on the side stand. Mostly because I have yo get off to get to the (pre-)payment terminal anyways.

This is the answer.

I would like to add that you can have multiple personal roboports in your armor to increase the bot limit.

White Goods are large home appliances such as stoves (British: cookers), refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, tumble driers, dishwashers, and air conditioners. They are large electrical goods for the house which were traditionally available only in white. Even though you can purchase them today in a wide range of different colors, they continue to be called white goods.

Above definition from first result on ddg. It might not be a common term everywhere, but where I'm from, the literal translation means the smae thinc, and is pretty universally used in both online and physical stores.

I bought my first motorcycle a few days ago (will post the promised pics soon!) but I noticed that the nozzle of the fuel station goes quite deep into the tank, so if it shuts off automatically, my tank is only half full.

From cars I know you shouldn't fill up further after it automatically shuts off, but they don't have this issue, so...

The question is, how do I know how much fuel I can put in the tank, without damaging anything (short or long term)?

Edit: thanks for the responses, since the bike is more than 20 years old, I don't haave the manual. But just filling it up as full as possible while the lid can still close comfortably seems to work just fine

That's a beautiful bike in a beautiful spot. Have a good time!

Will do! I called the local dealer today, they're willing to let me testdrive a few different types of bike, to figure out what I like most. And I do like the idea of having their warranty even if they're a little bit more expensive than the non-comercial second hand market..

I'm currently looking at sport/tour bikes, and occasionally peeking at some adventure bikes, because i like the looks.

Pricerange would be around €4-5k give or take.

I'm planning on just riding it on the weekends for fun, after I get aquainted with it, a few 1-2 day trips woth a few friends. I'll probably use it to commute if my SO needs to use the car. But those plans might drastically change once I actually have it...

In the future I want to try out some trails, but for now I'm happy with a road bike, as there aren't that many places to legally go offroad around here.

Thank you, good advice. How do I know which damages are just looks, and which are actual dangers?

[-] [email protected] 2 points 3 weeks ago

Yes, I've set my budget so that I won't have to cry if it explodes on the first day (well, from an economic standpoint anyway).

Thinking of a sport/tour, although I also like how adv bikes look. I'm thinking I might be better off buying a 2nd hand from a dealer.. they're a bit more expensive, but they come with a full service round and warranty. Whith me having no idea what to technically look for and all.

Hey, thanks, that's a good one. I dropped my school's bike once (the day of the parking lot exam actually) and my instructor made me figure out how to get it up myself. Much heavier than I expected actually.

Hi all, I passed my exams last friday, and I can pick up my license on Tuesday. Now all that's left is buying a bike. What's your best advise for buying on the second hand market? I have no idea how to judge if a bike is worth its pricetag. Wat are things to look for? Your expertise would be greatly appreciated!

I wondered this too when I was using the Jetbrains ai a while back, but I came to the conclusion that it's probably just trained on code that's on the internet, so you're likely to type something that's literally in its trainingdata when you're copying something from the web.

You seem to know a lot of this, in order for your point to click for me, could you explain why some extra payment processor is needed? Would a simple bank transfer not work? If you give me your IBAN, we could let our banks take care of it, right?
