"The rollout of the new aid effort over the past week by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, an effort conceived in Israel and endorsed by the United States, was supposed to help Palestinians get aid while keeping it out of the hands of Hamas.

Instead the effort, criticized by multiple aid groups and the United Nations, has devolved into scenes of chaos and death. The New York Times spoke to eight witnesses who described how attempting to reach the sites had become a life-threatening endeavor."

"The University of Michigan is using private, undercover investigators to surveil pro-Palestinian campus groups, including trailing them on and off campus, furtively recording them and eavesdropping on their conversations, the Guardian has learned.

The surveillance appears to largely be an intimidation tactic, five students who have been followed, recorded or eavesdropped on said. The undercover investigators have cursed at students, threatened them and in one case drove a car at a student who had to jump out of the way, according to student accounts and video footage shared with the Guardian."

"Although it seems highly likely, even to the State Department, that Rodriguez acted entirely alone and on his own initiative, this hasn’t stopped the mainstream media, the Trump administration, or the Israeli government from attempting to use the shooting to silence its critics, sanctify and romanticize the lives of the victims (a privilege denied to the more than 60,000 people murdered by Israel in Gaza), and to actively propagate the lie that the movement for Palestine is a violent and antisemitic threat to domestic peace. "

Those are the words of an Israeli sergeant from the 432 Tzabar Battalion of the Givati Brigade who spoke to Drop Site News on condition of anonymity due to Israeli military policy. Givati was one of the brigades involved in implementing the General’s Plan—a policy devised by former General Giora Eiland that used the lack of access to water, food, and medicine as a weapon of war to force the besieged Palestinians in the north of Gaza to starve or surrender."
