Not super fresh album, but released about a month ago. My favourite of this year so far. Spellling continues experimenting with genres, adding to her music flavours of post-punk, metal and shoegaze (with an awesome cover of my bloody valentine)

Have you heard about Bonkwave and Not Bonkwave music? It is a music movement and community that defies simple "genre" restrictions or any strict definitions. A lot of fediverse based musicians are involved.

The first disc of the 3rd compilation album is premiering on 25th october 20 UTC on Radio Free Fedi. You are cordially invited to hang out, listen and have fun. venue: https://party.radiofreefedi.net/

@indieheads Hey there - some of my albums have been mentioned on the Indieheads subreddit in the past, I appreciate the support! [edit: apparently this doesn't have to do with the indieheads on reddit, my mistake - just went off the description. I'm new to Mastodon and don't totally have the hang of this platform ha]
Here's the music video for one of the latest singles from my new album, Queen of No, called "Close Enough." If you check it out, thanks for taking the time.

I decided to upload Dog Park Dissidents this time, I will also be posting their new album here soon.

If anyone has any requests to be uploaded to red_music let me know taylor-commie. Do note the music must have a radical bent. I am quite good at scrubbing the internet for lossless files so the sky is the limit

Some of my favorites from this playlist: Rainbow Drones, Queer as in Fuck You, RuPaul's Frack Race, Class Struggle. You can find a bulk upload in the comments as usual.

I think song was made by youtube channel owner. It's to celebrate/sing about the mmo Champions of Regnum. Just looking for any feedback thoughts on how people feel about the song/music.

I'm a big indie music lover, but I don't think I have listened to any albums that have come out this year (except the new Knocked Loose album) .

Help a guy out 🙏

A song that seems to be getting a ton of hate on *eddit, Chaz experiments with 2000s pop-punk sounds. Personally, I love it.

A little revert back to classic mellow Homeshake after doing his thing on CD Wallet. Feel free to leave your thoughts below, would love to discuss!

Does anyone know of any songs that are similar to "Stella was a diver and she was always down" by Interpol? Specifically, the second half of the chorus with the heavier bass where the lyrics are just, "she broke away, broke away".

The Radical Romantics show has been filmed in its entirety for the first time at the unique location of Uckange Blast Furnaces in Northern France as part of the critically acclaimed ARTE Passengers series.

An incredible and unique setting for the Fever Ray live show chosen in collaboration with the creative minds at ARTE to compliment the vision of the album and live show. We're so happy to share this with you.

Giants Chair - New Orleans From their album Red and Clear. Just an indie band that's always stuck with me through the years when I want to be aggressive.

For fans of indie and alternative music.

For now there’s no real rules of Lemmy’s indieheads except these guidelines from the original subreddit:

We are purposely vague on a definition of “indie”. In general, music & news posts from these genres are not allowed:

Mainstream Rock/Metal Mainstream Pop Mainstream Hip Hop/R&B Mainstream Electronic & EDM

This is to encourage posts with music from more independent & underground artists. Experimental music & underground acts that exist within the banned genres will be allowed, at the discretion of the mods.

Feel free to discuss features you'd like to see on this community here. All ideas welcome!
