Bribes really do good.

That question is at the heart of Canadian defence planning today—and our acquisition of the F-35. Do we develop capacities that reduce reliance on the US by acquiring the ability to work with others and be more self-reliant? Or do we bet on Trump as a temporary blip, trusting that sanity will be restored, and thus resist throwing away the benefits of decades of close interoperability?

Except we are talking about a plane that is more like an iPhone than something else with more control.

I do not speak much Spanish, I think I know a few numbers, but I love that Carney is trying to look like he means what he is saying.

You should be safe flying over the US, ICE does not yet have control of the FAA. Even once they get control of the FAA the FAA cannot get a plane flying with a flight plan. Again this is true unless another 9/11 happens, even then you will hopefully either not be out of Canadian airspace or to high up to actually land in the US.

Amazon.ca should be boycotted, I wish AWS could be boycotted as well.

Our conservative TV channel is hiring bigger conservatives, shocker!

Even though I could watch all the CBC shows without ads on their app, thank you pi-hole, after the Buy Canadian movement started I cancelled all of the streaming services and started paying for CBC Gem. Now I am “ethically” watching the shows without ads no ads and I can watch the news anytime.

I wish I could cancel Disney+ again in protest of what they did to Kimmel.

I was down in Mexico when I was younger, I was talking with a street merchant I was talking Canadian and all that. He tried selling me something for $20 so I pulled out the queen and he was all like “no no no US money.” I ended up just walking away.

Later in life I was down in Jamaica I was talking to a street merchant and he tested me on which province I was from, I said “Saskatchewan but I can name any other one if you have no idea if where Saskatchewan is.” But the merchant believed me that I was actually from Canada.

Smith said permanent residents and non-citizens living in Alberta will have no marker displayed on their card.

Yeah because law enforcement wont abuse that.

Albertans will need to provide proof of citizenship or immigration status when applying for or renewing a driver's licence, according to the province.

Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction Dale Nally said the federal government was consulted on the change.

“Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction” sounds kinda maple maga

Driver's licences incorporating Alberta health-care card information will roll out at the same time, Smith said.

"This will also provide additional security around health-care numbers," Smith said.

Smith said there are over 530,000 more health-care numbers than there are people living in Alberta.

Yeah if you are having difficulties with health-care numbers and the population that is an issue, but you wanna bet that the 530 000 number is in relation to people who do not have a license? Here in Saskatchewan we get free stickers to put on our health cards when they are up for renewal, I am willing to bet that you will have to renew your license to keep your health card up to date.

Poilievre said Kirk was killed "because he expressed a contrary point of view."

Kirk’s last words and thoughts were not exactly racist but damn near close to it, mass shootings or gang violence. His second last thoughts where Transphobic “there are two many mass shootings by Trans people to count in his country.” Yes I did use two properly there, there have been two mass shootings down by Trans people in the US.

This is not cool that they are sharing pictures of someone because of the other people they have thought they have.

I realized I needed to get my activism fix, it has been a while since I have sent letters to agencies and I was just really needing a hit. But what could I activate over? Well hey Trump is hosting the G20 at Maralogo why don’t I try shaking the globe up a bit, it has been a little while since I have tried that. I came up with an argument about why Canada should boycott it, then encourage other parties to do the same and then host an alternative in Canada. Then I sent out different emails to different parties. In retrospect I think I took a real low blow at PP but he was letter 3 so I was a little drained. I wrote another email after that still and have a few more for tomorrow. I would like to encourage others to write their MP, possibly even Carney and PP but if you do those two and they are not your MP make sure you say in the letter that you have already written your MP.

I am really not happy with those who have money just forgetting about those of us who are doing are part to stick it to the US.

Do they really think demand for flights to the US to pick up, drastically, after Trump crocks or the next election?

i promise you that is the last time he is going to spend any time in that riding and the only reason he was there door knocking was because Critchly was running, the longest ballet did not get him to go out there, it was Bonnie Critchly.

"Canada has failed to co-operate in curbing the ongoing flood of fentanyl and other illicit drugs, and it has retaliated against the United States for the president's actions to address this unusual and extraordinary threat," says the statement.

If I remember correctly most of the fentanyl found was heading north to Canada not south to the US.

So I have a Reddit account still because I frequently come across posts that I want to say stuff in, and my local community c/Saskatchewan has not really embraced the boycott US as much as I wish it had but today I was talking with my grandmother when a notification popped up on my screen saying Reddit wanted my eyes on their ads, it was actually someone replying to a comment but what is the difference? I thought about it and decided that it was time for me to turn off Reddit notifications, and man did it feel good doing it!
