๐ŸŽ = 8 at point P.

If you want to generalize the solution further, you could say ๐ŸŽ = 4xy - 2x^2 for all real values of x,y such that x^2 * y = 8

I do not care for Will Wood

I started 3 as my first soulslike ever. Had a great time.

I actually enjoyed 3 more than 1.

Does it still count if you use a wormhole? That's like taking a shortcut and still saying you went the full distance.

I've found that all the web archiving software I've encountered are either manual (you have to archive everything individually in a separate application) or crawler-based (which can end up putting a lot of extra load on smaller web server, and could even get your ip blocked).

Are there any solutions that simply automatically archive web pages as you load them in your browser? If not, why aren't there?

I could also see something like that being useful as a self-hosted web indexer, where if you ever go "I think I've seen this name before", you can click on it, and your computer will say something like "this name appeared in a news headline you scrolled past two weeks ago"

Hi, I promise I have no unethical intentions with this post. And forgive the cheesy stock photo; I wasn't sure what to put there.

Avoiding specifics, a friend of mine has a physically-distant, yet emotionally-close, family member go silent for no apparent reason. This person has a history of mental illness and dissapearing from time to time, but it's been a year, and my friend is worried. The family member doesn't have much of a social media presence, and we don't know anyone who could check on them in-person. Right now I only know their name and a vague idea of their location (which is in the United States).

Here's my question (and some followup questions): How can I find any information about their existence online?

Are there any public government records I could search through?

I know there's a ton of advertising data collected by phones somewhere out there. Could that be useful in some way?

For wikipedia you'll want to use Kiwix. A full backup of wikipedia is only like 100GB, and I think that includes pictures too.

Part of the problem might be that I literally have no idea what their current console is called? Whoever was in charge of naming the last threeish xbox consoles should be fired out of a cannon

My house gets internet via a magical coax cable that is, I assume, connected to the rest of the world via my Internet Service Provider. This cable connects directly into my router, which links to all the devices in my home.

My question is: Where does this magic cable go?

Some followup questions: How long is the cable?

How does so much data go through a single-pin coax cable? Wouldn't it be better if there were more pins, like in a twinax configuration?

There are also other houses in my neighborhood. Are their cables connected to mine? Can their routers see the packets sent by my router, similar to ethernet?

How has your day been?

I feel like the box being made out of metal was probably more important than the chicken soul, but whatever works I guess
