Is this an announcement for a review? I see no actual content.
Famitsu is a Japanese video game print magazine. Their scores are usually reported online as Famitsu is a notoriously hard reviewer. Totk got a perfect Famitsu score (40/40) which is super rare for them.
It's more of a litmus test and marker of a good game. If Famitsu rates it good, you can probably trust that it is good. As for a written review, I believe you'd have to buy the magazine, translate it, and upload it yourself. They don't appear on the Famitsu website as far as I can tell. I may be wrong here though.
I’d argue that Famitsu used to be a notoriously hard reviewer… but with the online age that reputation has more or less dissolved. Perfect scores are significantly more common than they used to be.
Looks that way... without a translation, it might make more sense to compile in a review score megathread or something
I have the open critic page pinned in the community. It has all the reviews and snips of their written reviews compiled already. I posted Famitsu separately, since a lot of people give them a lot of trust
True, they are pretty prestigious
I updated the post body with the translated review that was linked in the original post. It isn't much, but it's there now if you want to read it.
Awesome! Appreciate it, man
