if spez were old enough to grow a moustache, he'd be twirling it
Please don't tie being able to have a moustache to age. Not everyone has the genes to grow one, even if they are born male.
Itβs pretty narrow minded to limit growing a mustache to those born male.
That wasn't my intention, nor the content of my comment.
Note the "even if". That means we're starting from a position of everybody eventually being able to grow a moustache if they get old enough and note that it isn't the case. Then we check if it's the case for everyone born male, and again it's not the case. At no point did we assume that there were no people born female who are eventually able to grow a moustache with age, though it is implied that not being able to grow a moustache regardless of age is less uncommon among people born female or at least perceived to be.
It is partially tied to age. Age is one of the requirements to grow a moustache, even if (as you correctly pointed out) not the only one.
But you're missing the point, really. What the poster above is highlighting is that spez isn't just a comic villain, he's a childish one.
Don't worry, I understood the point perfectly. It's just that you can be an adult male and still not be able to grow a moustache, and implying those people aren't adults isn't nice.
