I literally usa canva everyday. It’s such a great tool. Although their app can sometimes be slow to load things, but I think that’s a problem with my isp.

I don’t know I have a need for affinity tools, but I hope it’s added for free or is an optional upgrade. I’d hate that to raise my subscription price

I bought affinity because canva was so bad.

They have three pieces of software. One is a photo editor. The other is a vector graphic designer, and the third is a page layout software.

I use Canva at work and generally find it absolute crap

It could be improved in many ways, but I don’t know any alternatives.

When it comes to page layout it can't even wrap text around an image. Almost any WP is better

Each has their place. I use Pixelmator, Affinity Designer, Sketch, and occasionally Gimp and Photoshop. Canva is really good at doing things like throwing together a flyer. I used to create social media posts for a pre-school and Canva was super easy to create templates that lay folks could edit. Virtually no learning curve.

Affinity is my vector tool of choice currently but these space seems to be a field with lots of options.
