I remember back in 2005 or so clearing upwards of 5 toolbars from various relatives' browsers, but not so much since. The people have 16 push messages an hour, are the same people who had 7 IE toolbars, are the same people who had their VCR blinking 12:00, are the same people who couldn't get the channel on their radio, are the same people who (presumably) kept buying snakeoil potions.
