I don't mind the exposure to socialist ideas. What annoys me is that you can't discuss world events at all without tankie sealions spewing their unique brand of brain rot into every thread

Still much better than fascist sealions like everywhere else, though.

Of course, the ideal would be zero sealions but until society has progressed sufficiently towards utopia to make that a possibility, I'll take tankies over fascists any day, both sealioning and in general.

Just to clarify, when you say fascists, do you mean liberals, or far right extremists (same PIcTURe). Because if it is the latter, then yes - the worst tankie is very slightly preferable to the best Nazi.

I mean far right extremists that actually exhibit all or most of the 14 characteristics of fascism , such as present day American Republicans.

Don't get me wrong, I abhor neoliberalism too, but fascism is MUCH worse and conflating the two doesn't help anyone or anything.

Yes, this is the right take, but you never know on this instance

Even worse is the mods of [email protected] will arbitrarily delete posts/comments critical of Russia/China/tankies.

If bad actors like that are being tolerated by the mods and/or admins, then everybody should switch to a different community and/or instance.
