Often when I turn on my PS5 I think of the those endless summer days alternating between going outside in the sweltering heat and playing my PS1 in front of the air conditioner with my older brother. Those were the days!

It was the game console that was available at the after-school facilities I used to hang out in. PS1 became near-and-dear to me as well, when me and a couple buds found it in a corner collecting dust, everyone playing on the two PS2s that the place had.

Since the PS2s were often in use, we set it up again in our boredom and played the shit out of Ape Escape. For a long while there, we didn't even want to play Sly 3.
