self immolation is a shit way to go and while efficacy of action is probably not the priority of someone committing suicide, i'm not aware of individual actions like this ever amounting to much.

    It would have been significantly more effective for him to defect and go help Palestinians resist the IOF. Especially since he already had military knowledge.

    Depends on his job. Outright sabotage is pretty difficult to pull off, but if he was willing to die he could have probably walked into a building with some generals inside it and redacted.

    Yes? The protests which started because of his self-immolation are what grew into the President fleeing the country.

    Obviously it's complicated, there were underlying issues and the context surround his self-immolation matters and such, but I'm not sure how you can dismiss his final act. His individual act amounted to something.
