Getting down to brass tax:
The mods have been discussing this for about a month and to say it has been difficult is an understatement, I digress.
We are leaving the vote up to the community now and you have two options:
Option one: Vote to shut down the fake news community (comment 👍)
Option two: Vote to keep fake news but have Melina stand down so they can no longer post (comment ✌️)
Option three: Keep things as is (comment😈)
We will compile all votes by the end of the week, depending on how close the margins are we will close the poll earlier if need be.

genuinely feel like a lot of the “defenses” of Melina have been way more hostile and smug and troll-y than Melina themselves (sry idk how to say like faeselves correctly or if that’s correct…). Like a lot of the fake news posts are genuinely funny but when someone complains about them, instead of just like listening to them or even just telling them they’re wrong, there’s this inclination to go all
“Well someone just has a skill issue.” on their ass when just telling them it’s not everyone’s “thing” would be a lot nicer and less mean.
So I vote for option 4: Keep fake news the way it is and make a public announcement saying everyone who did what I just said is wrong and mean and poopy
