It depends. Do either of them connect to the internet, or can they just be managed by a local server running open source software. If they can then the robot, otherwise neither.
Was going to say the same. Both are useful, but if they aren't open source and locally hosted on a server I own and control, I can't trust them... But if I can, I'd pick the robot maid because that's much more useful; can do anything a smart home can, and much more.
