I mean, recruit the gen x to be the officers and the gen alpha gamers to pilot the combat androids and drones.

    I'm convinced this near-future sci-fi bullshit exists as a means of suckering in 19-year-olds who think they won't be in the trenches getting mortars dropped on their heads.

    Like this tactic is even new, just replace “near-future sci-fi” with “DnD + American Gladiators” and you have the same dumb shit but 25 years ago
