I loved them too. The only reason why I had to switch (back when a physical keyboard was still kind of an option) was because I started to type in cyrillic too, and - especially as a newbie who isn't familiar with the keyboard's layout - a digital one was much easier to use. I think the only people that like them are the people designing the phones, because they don't have to worry about smaller/lighter/more durable keyboards.
