No change. Same error. Some apps will only accept the username--others will only accept the email addr--thunder at this point is accepting neither. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Hmm.. It's a bit harder to diagnose this issue without being able to reproduce it on my end. Just a few more questions if you don't mind!
lemmy.world
but I just want to confirmThere is currently a pre-release version of Thunder that you can try. It might or might not fix your exact issue, but if you want to test that out, feel free to and let me know! The link to the pre-release is: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/releases/tag/v0.2.1-alpha.2%2B12
I believe it was v0.2.1-11 that was failing constantly. And, yes, it was lemmy.world, but lemm.ee and lemmy.film were failing as well.
The alpha you linked to allowed me to log into .world--but once I was logged-in there, I could NOT add any add'l instances.
Alright, that seems to be a step in the right direction! For the additional instances, is it throwing the same error (couldnt find username/email) or is something else happening?
The version I sent is a "nightly" version, so you may encounter some more issues there than you might normally just because it's a bit less tested
Yeah, progress...I guess. ๐ And, yep, it was throwing the same error as before...
