As we continue to play our role in creating the ultimate Antifa Super Soaker on behalf of Chairman Xi, I must admit I am beginning to have my doubts. When Chairman Xi personally contacted me and told me that the CCP was in need of my skills as both a developer and a pervert, I rushed at the opportunity to fulfill my duty. But now, I can't help but wonder, at what cost?
No really, when am I gonna get paid for this? None of my Xi bucks have arrived yet.
This week, with many typos, bugs, and plenty of [email protected] playing in the background, I've managed to put together a half assed mode handler. I've largely encapsulated the functions of each mode into a group of gameobjects so the mode shift can be mostly achieved by a simple switch of turning off one game object and turning on another. That includes hand controls, buttons and things. Thankfully I frontloaded my time on that when I was writing the sdk for The Handy toy.
So, as it stands now. It loads up, flashes a welcome screen (and what will in the future be a tutorial mode,) switches you into the Quiz mode, then after getting 5? questions correct, it'll switch over to the stroking mode while flashing... I have not figured out yet. Right now it's naughty and somewhat silly ASCII. Maybe AI slop in the future until I can afford pay to hire models? IDK.
Next weekend I'll probably flesh the stroker mode out a bit more and reintegrate my sdk. Today I'll probably add another timer before I close things up so that it switches back to the quiz mode after 30 seconds or something.
Thanks for reading, comrades!
Unity, unfortunately. If it gets any sort of traction I'll remake it in godot in the future, but I've sunk too much time and energy into it to switch engines when I'm this close to finally having something releasable.
