The new government recently announced it would dial back the use of Māori language in government organisations, and scrap anti-smoking legislation and the Māori Health Authority at a time when health issues, including lung cancer, disproportionately impact Māori.

I've only been to New Zealand a few times, but all their museums and cultural history tourist things talk about the Treaty of Waitangi like it's this huge point of national pride and founding mythology. What the heck does it mean to "review" it? Sounds like some crank shit.
