They weren't easing anything, I've seen bodies thrown off bridges in crime shows that hit the water with less fanfare.

Also, the water being so high means if you use them to tinkle you get splashback. Ours have sufficient depth available to keep the splash inside the bowl, but on their is just jumps out everywhere like liquid popcorn.

Might not be a problem for those who are shooting low enough that the widdle doesn't reach terminal velocity, but for those of use with long legs and short hoses it's a recipe for splotches on and around your shoes.
