Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Last week of work for the year, first week of school holidays means we're trying to work from home while the kids murder each other.

Also, Jerboa keeps crashing so I'm trying Boost and I think it's better?

We managed to ship the school kids to their grandparents for this week! Their problem now 😄

I never settled on a good lemmy app. I have yet to find one that can show me a recent comment feed like the website can. And for some reason I always just like the website better, even on mobile. I know that many people think it's terrible but I guess I'm just used to it.

I've tried many, but sticking with Liftoff. By default it shows New Comments for me.

A comment feed? If you go on the website, on the front page you can choose posts or comments. For example, if I choose comments in combination with Local, it will show me new comments on lemmy.nz communities regardless of which post they are in.

I can't seem to find this in liftoff. I also noticed it hasn't been updated since July, the month it was released. Is it still in development? it might not work with lemmy 0.19

Ah sorry, thought you meant sort by.

Yeah it still works.

The github repo doesn't seem very active indeed. Well I'll jump ship when it breaks :)
