That's over 10x what Daniel Craig was paid for the last James Bond movie after he said he would never play Bond again.
I like Craig's Bond, but that role has been recast several times already. It wouldn't be hard to do it again.
Depp is the only Sparrow.
For now. Give it a few more years and Disney will reboot it.
