Conservatives have supported these ideas for many decades. In other words, conservatives are as guilty as “progressive” Democrats for America’s leftward shift—and perhaps more so, because they portray themselves as defenders of individual rights while constantly undermining them.

That's not what the author of the article you shared with me thinks.

I thought this conversation was off topic and wasn't worth your time.

Overall, The Big Lie is rich in historical data and clearly demonstrates that Fascism and Nazism belong on the political left

Now the reviewer does argue that the Nazis were inspired by the Democrats and not the other way around.

If I believe your statement that 'Democrats are Nazis' and add in that statement from the article you shared with me I end up with 'conservatives are as much as nazis as Democrats - perhaps more so'.

Do you feel that's accurate?

For supporting democrat policies. I would say the republicans enable them. The republicans have went from having ideas to trying to shit of anything the democrats do.

Sorry I don't fully understand you.

Do you feel that statement is accurate or not?

I don't exactly understand how you explained why you don't feel the statement ‘conservatives are as much nazis as Democrats - perhaps more so' is not accurate.

You said they support democratic policies that you feel are Nazi policies.

You said that the conservatives/republicans enable the Dems being Nazis.

How can they do both of those yet not be guilty of being Nazis themselves?

It seems you agree Democrats are Nazis. Republicans just enable their bad behavior. Maybe both sides are fascist. We did use a lot of Nazis after WW2 to do things in our government.

I'm trying to have a conversation with you and understand how you think.

When have I ever said that I think either side are Nazis or fascists?

I really don't appreciate you putting your words in my mouth and I'd like to ask you to not do that again.
