Instagram’s Threads app has reached 100 million users, making it easily the fastest growing app ever.

The thing I’m liking the most about the fediverse so far is the lack of advertising, Lemmy and Mastodon (so far) have a much bigger emphasis on conversation and cool topics, and less on trying to sell us stuff which is really refreshing :)
