Revanced is a bit of a hassle to install but really worth it.
I prefer NewPipe
I do like having recommendations though. Newpipe gives me the super normie feed and I'm just not that interested in the latest KSI vs Logan Paul.
Vanced still gives you a normal feed with recommendations. And I'm pleased to say I don't know who KIS is (no one tell me)
I got tired of trying to install revanced. Just uninstalled YouTube completely and open everything in my opera browser. Blocks ads does the same job.
GrayJay works fine for me tho
Why is it a hassle? You can just use a pre-built one, and it's like installing any other APK.
There isn't an official pre build app. The one you get might be fine, but you can't be sure...
There isn't an official, that's so Google can't ask them to shut it down, as they technically are not disturbing it. The "unofficial" works completely fine. It's revanced-magisk-module by j-hc.
Still, why is it a hassle?
mobilism has the revanced apps already. i just go there to get what i need
