I'm thinking about trying shrooms for the first time, I just want to know if it's okay to try for the first time alone or not?

I wouldn't, it's always helpful to trip with a friend who's done it before and ideally is sober too. A responsibilibuddy if you will. Helps you have a good time and to talk it through with someone.

Also, mushrooms can be strong, and take a while to kick in (1 hour usually for me), so pace yourself and start small. Don't do the classic blunder of saying "this isn't working, I better take more".
