Can I somehow use a telephone port for ethernet? (alien.top)

Hello,

So in my room there is, unfortunately, no ethernet port, only a telephone port. However, I want to move my pc into my room. So, is there a way? Maybe a telephone-to-ethernet adapter? I have no clue with these things, any and all help is appreciated.

p.s. Will the internet speed be lower?

You can't adapt it, but you can check the back side of the outlet. If it uses a Cat5e or better cable, and there are no daisy chained wired to it, you may be able to. Once you confirm that, you'll of course need to find where the other end goes to as that would have to go to your router/switch.
