It's the dunk tank.
This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.
Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.
Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.
Rule 3: No sectarianism.
Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome
Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)
Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.
Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.
Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again
How the fuck can you claim to be a PhD student and not know what a "primary source" is lmao.
Well they've not finished the PhD have they. Any moron can start a PhD and be too stupid to finish it.
Source: am a moron who started a PhD and hasn't finished it.
Seems like an OK definition of primary vs. secondary sources (which itself is kind of academic; what you're really looking for is reliability).
The
part to me is "here's a video of them in Hamas captivity, here's a still of them dead from a block away, this totally means Hamas killed them (despite an abundance of violence in a tiny area, with a background of indiscriminate Israeli bombing)." Anyone drawing a conclusion about who killed them is working off their priors.
Hey! Give yourself a little credit! Some of us morons would never dream of even attempting a PhD. I think you're awesome.
Well, they probably have an Economics degree. Don't beat yourself up.
I dug through the reddit comments and it's a cross discipline CS and "Digital Media Studies" degree lol
