Hi, I am not much into the world of routers, and APs. I need a new, Wi-Fi if possible, router, ´cause my old Archer C6 v2 is acting weird. When I connect a PC, sometimes Archer restarts itself. And use, I have OpenWRT installed. My question is, would you recommend a new router that should handle 1gb traffic, a home server, 2 PCs, a few Wi-Fi light bulbs, and mostly 4 devices connected by Wi-Fi? I have heard about the unifi network, but it is quite overpriced for my needs. I am looking for something around 50$.

You're going to have trouble finding a new, up-to-date wifi router for $50. If you can afford to spend a bit more than that, look at the GL.inet Flint, which comes with OpenWrt out of the box. Otherwise look for previous-generation routers on Amazon.

I am not saying it has to be up-to-date, I just need at least a router that can handle this traffic. In the end, I am going to install openwrt or dd-wrt on it
