Second (non-FW) charger dead… Am I causing this? (alien.top)

So yesterday my Anker 100W charger died on the second use, so I bought another one, this time by Teknet (also 100W) which arrived today. Straight out of the box I plug it into my FW 13 and got nothing. Tried it on my phone, still nothing.

I made a post yesterday asking if I could use a 20W iPhone charger temporarily as long as I wasn’t using the laptop at the time. I’m doing that and it’s working, so I’m confident the laptop is ok.

Are chargers from Amazon just bad? Is this just a coincidence that I’ve had two broken ones so close together? Or is destiny trying to prevent me using my new laptop?

I've never heard of Teknet, but I have an anker wall charger and 2 Anker car chargers that are still running strong after a couple of years. So my guess is with the Anker you got unlucky and found a faulty unit.
