Hahaha the fucking lot of you that are criticising him, would you say no if you were in his shoes? I wouldn’t even put it past the fact that he went out of loyalty for Stevie, Hendo is that sort of guy. Like many have pointed out, 10million on top of whatever’s he has made as the only motivation seems too simple as well

I would have stayed at Liverpool and made do with what I was earning there.

Yes, I would absolutely say no. Money is great, but you know what else is great? My wife being able to live in a place where she has the same rights that I do. And being able to look in the mirror and tell myself that I won’t sell my soul to boost my career earnings from €75M to €100M. And being able to set an example for my kids that they should care about more than just material possessions, and not allow greed to drive every decision they make in their lives.
