Is the apple watch safe to be used in a hot sauna ? (alien.top)

I normally take my watch off when going to the hot sauna and steam room, however I noticed some people come in wearing their apple watches, I keep wondering if this is safe especially for the battery to be exposed to such high temperatures and for the watch electronics overall ?

I still think it is unsafe but correct me if I’m wrong

Sauna != Sauna. There are saunas with 50°C and saunas with around 100°C. I personally wouldn't risk a phone in a 100°C sauna.
