Data Hoarder

We are digital librarians. Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time (tm) ). Along the way we have sought out like-minded individuals to exchange strategies, war stories, and cautionary tales of failures.

I am really struggling to find a solution to this problem, and am looking for some advice.

I am trying to consolidate all of my photos into one cloud storage. I am also going to back them up onto an external hard drive, but will start with the cloud as that is where they are located now. Right now I have about: 70,000 photos in OneDrive, 26,000 photos in Amazon photos, and about 45,000 photos on my iPhone, backed up in the iCloud. I am very against continuing to use OneDrive. I do not need my photos to be encrypted, I am prioritizing ease of use over anything else. I'm not a techy person, and Windows 11 is driving me absolutely insane. OneDrive seems to have kept the files date taken, but will NOT TRANSFER them when exporting. Same with Amazon photos. This is incredibly frustrating, I have googled and googled and had help from my partner who is a computer science nerd, and we cannot figure it out. That is ok. I really have assumed at this point that is completely hopeless, so that is not necessarily what I am seeking assistance about. I am wondering what cloud storage you recommend to hold all of these. I will never use OneDrive again. I want something separate from my iCloud. I am open to Amazon, but am nervous about being unable to export photos that hold their date taken? I have tried so far tonight to upload photos to Google Drive and Dropbox, and I am having major issues with both. I cannot edit date taken in Google Photos? And Dropbox will classify my files as "Images" but they do not show up in the "Photos" page. I am just so ready to be done with this. I've gained 20,000 photos on my iPhone in the time I've tried to find a solution for this. I wish I had just started with one platform, but unfortunately, 16-year-old me did not plan for the insane frustration this brings.

Ok, I hope this post is allowed, as I have tried to do research but cannot seem to find something that works. Hoping to find someone who has gone through this before and can offer some advice :)
