I just came back from a three day backpack-ride in the woods. There were a lot of bugs, and I was tired. But man, the first thing I thought of when I got home (besides maybe making my pack for the car ride home) was "well, if I could find a bug like that while out on the trail...that would be a bonus". Bugs are fun, and we all know what survival horror movies usually get me if we find one. \n\nBut damn, the first "oh, a bug just crawled out of the ground, I should really try to look for it" ideas killed me. I have a vague memory of having a bug in my hair as a kid. I always have, and I don't care to hide it. But goddamn, it was there, and I thought about it and it killed me. \n\nI'm not the first person to think about this (it's in my DNA), but I thought I should at least know what to ask. Thanks!
Oh, OK, okay, I’ve had bugs before, but never really thought to ask for them. Well, thanks for doing what you do, and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have for me. However, if you have any other questions for me, you can’t go ahead and I’ll reply to them as I think I really, really want to answer them.
It's a good idea to have a plan for yourself, but it's also a matter of mindset and how you approach things. I think you're on the right track with this.
