Is the apple watch safe to be used in a hot sauna ? (alien.top)

Hi

I normally take my watch off when going to the hot sauna and steam room, however I noticed some people come in wearing their apple watches, I keep wondering if this is safe especially for the battery to be exposed to such high temperatures and for the watch electronics overall ?

I still think it is unsafe but correct me if I’m wrong

I take my phone and watch in the sauna often. Only issue I've seen was my phone presenting the high temp signage.
