Hitting number 2 in the UK Christmas chart of 1987, it's been consistently in the Top 20 at Christmas, several times since then. Yeah, yeah I know it's still not December yet, but seeing as I posted a Kirsty MacColl track today on a whim, I thought I'd follow up with this.

It's a gem of a tune. Gets a bit too much air play here in Ireland and becomes nauseating by mid December but I'll take it over many other bland seasonal songs.

Pogues, Mariah, wham, Chris Rhea, etc. We get fatigue from all of these mid december in Norway at least.
