Is it just me or are the amount of apps we use on our phones getting ridiculously high? (alien.top)

I just set up my phone as new recently and I had to download over 50 apps even though I really tried my best to weed out the ones that aren’t frequently used. Back then (like 4 years ago) 20-25 apps was all I really needed. Obviously our needs change as we grow but I don’t know how and when I came to the point of needing 50+ apps downloaded on my phone at all times. Anyone else?

I was going to say that it must be you, but I just counted and I use 22 apps daily, pretty much everyday. And I have a lot more app, I still need but don't use regularly.
