M1 Max vs M3 Pro(11core) for coding? (alien.top)

Hi Guys I need urgent help! after some research with just under $2k to spent, I cannot decide between M1 Max and M3 Pro(11core). They are almost the same cost. Which one is better/run everything faster?? I use mostly front end, React, MySQL, Docker. I dont care about Video/Image editing. thanks for any input!

M3 Pro. The main difference between Pro and Max (of the same generation ) is more GPU cores on the Max. For programming you don't really need much GPU power but a faster CPU will speed up your workflow (namely improved build times). The newer M3 Pro should outperform the M1 Max for your needs.
