As I understand it, it takes time to take effect across all instances because of the nature of the fediverse. That’s why if you’re a mod it’s best to use an account registered on the same instance as the community you’re moderating. At least that’s what someone told me!

No clue, all I can tell you is that it’s based out of Iceland and created in February. I’d click on it if I were willing to accept the nearly assured malware.
